I had a dream last night that Jensen went around wearing eyeliner ~~and got caught making out with Jared (I don't know why I dreamt this - I'm not a J2 shipper).~~

So I made a wallpaper with said eyeliner. I find it incredibly hot!

I'm struggling with coursework and coming to the end of my time at uni so now is probably the right time to do a drastic friends cut. I've been meang to do one for a while and it's just getting more difficult for me to keep up and I skip a lot of your entries when I do have time to check my LJ.

Hulloie! Tis me!

I just got in from work after a gruelling 9 hours shift (actually I only did 8 hrs 15 mins cos I got let off early). My evil flatmate's girlfriend has just left for work. At least I think she's left, she didn't say goodbye. She's left the TV on though - what a twat! I won't venture out into the rest of the flat for a few minutes. It's not cos I'm scared of her, she just intimidates me and I feel like she's watching my every move. Annoyingly she's moved her night shift to an evening shift so she does 8pm-11.45pm. This sucks cos Saturday nights are usually our movie and booze-up nights. I told Rob to get a really good horror so she's probably gunna moan at the choice of film when she comes back. Plus she's already called us a pair of alcoholics. Pffft! Whatever! I don't get up in the morning and reach for a bottle of whiskey or go to bed drunk as a skunk. I just get a bit drunk. And it's not nightly, it's once a freakin' week!

Anyway, enough ranting. I got some good news at work yesterday. My stupid-ass manager is leaving and going to another store and we're gunna get our cool assistant manager back. My favourite maneger is taking over temporarily, maybe even permanently if they pay him extra, so I'm really pleased about that. Plus our new assistant manager (who I call Henry High-Trousers ((even though his name's not Henry, it's Ian)) cos he wears his over-sized trouser around his middle!) is leaving too. Woot!

I've decided to only update once or twice a week cos A) hardly anyone reads or comments on the entries so I don't see why I should bother; and B) I don't have a very interesting life so I don't have a great deal to write.

I'm gunna go snoop around the flat and get some dinner. Will update in a next week.

Oh, oh, nearly forgot to say I saw this kid at work today that was the splitting image of a young Gary Sinise! Rock on!

Just to let you know I managed to somehow get the layout that I had last time that mandy_thewlis very kindly set up for me. Although I've lost the header that she made for me (sorry Mandy!). I think I might make one myself this time as I'm getting better at making graphics. I'm not sure what I want on it yet though.

I'll get the header up by tomorrow, but for now I'm gunna stick with the London one that came with the layout. I'll also inform you of the graphics community I made to display all my stuff. I hope you'll all friend it cos that would be awesome. Gotta go to bed now cos I'm absoluetly exhausted so goodnight!

I'm writing this quick update in my lunch hour between lectures. As you probably know I moved to another county last weekend and I'm really enjoying it. I moved in with Rob, my friend from college and his girlfriend. It's a 2 bedroom flat and I have a double bed and loads of storage and stuff. Went to the pub on saturday night with about 7 friends and just drunk until it was last orders. We just chatted which probably doesn't sound that fun but it was, we had a laugh and then later moved into the entertainment room and played pool and watched Kerrang. I've actually been invited to Berlin in Germany for a birthday weekend cos it's 3 of my friend's birthdays one after the other so we're just gunna go out there and get cheap beer and party! I'm finally living the student life! I wish I had this much fun last year.

And at college I've spoken to more people than I did last year. I think I'm being less shy and more outgoing than I've ever been and I'm really enjoying it. Mum and dad visited yesterday and we had a sunday lunch at a restaurant and went for a walk around the village and then went back to the flat and talked. They said that I seem much happier in myself and that everything is falling nicely into place for me. They left and I had a little cry but it was a happy cry.

Lectures seem to be interesting at the moment but as soon as we start to get work I'm sure that I'll not find it that great. I had a really good one this morning about soil-living organisms and stuff.. (doesn't sound very interesting but it is.. to me anyway) and also a really crap one on Friday morning which was a 4 hour lecture on business management. I contemplated hanging myself from the balcony..

Okay, some guy is breathing really loudly right next to me......

Well, I've gotta get some lunch now cos I'm starving but I really, really hope you reply to this. I just want to know how you're getting on (cos I don't have the time to trawl through my friends page at the moment, I'm sorry). I won't be able to check for replies for another couple of days cos I have work after college on Tuesday and then Wednesday I have off so I won't come to college. Hope to speak soon! Bye! xxx

My summer holidays has come to an end now (all 3 1/2 months of it) and I have to move back to Essex tomorrow. I think I've been off way too long and I don't want to go back now. Well, I do cos I'm bored at home and have become really lazy. I'm excited and nervous and sad at the same time but I think it'll be cool to live with a couple of people in a flat rather than at home. I'm leaving tomorrow at 2pm so I'll get there at half 3-ish. Looking at all the stuff I've gotta take, I'm wondering if it's actually all gunna fit into my little car! It must do cos I bought it all home last year.

This isn't like a goodbye forever but perhaps for a few days while I settle in. I'll have to use the internet in the library on my laptop cos the flat hasn't got internet *grumbles* but thank god for the library at college to be open til half 9pm! If I didn't have internet I think I would end up killing myself..

Claire and I rented 'Waiting' last night cos we saw a trailer for it at the cinema and it looked quite funny. But I think they stuck all the good and funny bits into the trailer cos really the film was crap! It didn't have any plot at all. Before that we went to Nando's but had to wait 40 mins to get seated and when we did we got stuck next to a party table and we couldn't have a conversation without shouting to each other. The waitress bought a cake to that table and started singing happy birthday on her own and then one of the people stopped her and goes "it's not her birthday." and I looked at the cake and it said 'we're sorry you're leaving' on it! HA HA the waitress must have been soooo embarassed cos the party just started laughing and mocking her! How cruel but incredibly funny. It was almost as funny as when we were sitting in Pizza hut one time and this kid outside was pretending to be a plane and she ran right into a post!

I know I only updated the other day I just feel really down this afternoon. I was fine until mum came home from work. We sat and talked for a while but she just kept bringing up the topic of me going back to college and moving away from home. She's happy that I'm moving out and becoming more independant but I'm not! I couldn't be more unhappy and the worst thing is that I can't tell her about it. I can't tell her that I'm not really enjoying the course and that it's not what I was expecting it to be and that I've not made any good friends. I talk to people in the class quite happily but most of them are older than I am. I'm one of only 3 or 4 19 year olds and it sucks. I don't know why I feel this way but it's horrible. I've had it on and off for the last 2 months and it's just hit me hard today.

I went downstairs a minute ago to put some washing in the machine and mum immediately starts talking about student loans and 'when are you gunna go shopping for stuff? you'll need to go soon..'. So I bung the stuff in the machine and she goes 'are you going back up to your bedroom again?' Yeah mum cos you keep bloody talking about the same subject. No wonder I spend a lot of my time in my bedroom.

And to top it all Lost finishes in a week! A week! I dunno how I'm gunna survive. I might just die and then come back as a spirit to watch the next series. Sorry about the rant but it needed to be said. I made myself more upset and wound up but it got it off my chest.

I hate my parents!

*long rant time*

My moods are being really mean to me today. I've been up and down like a yo-yo. It was okay when I was home alone or it was just me and my sister here, but as soon as the parents came home I just went all moody. I had to go with mum to the supermarket cos she wanted to know what I wanted for dinner and the whole time I was there I had to repeat everything I said cos she wasn't listening or was being inconvieniently deaf, like she does, which annoyed the hell out of me. Her driving scares me too, she doesn't look at the roundabout until the last minute.

Then my dad came home a couple of hours ago and all there's been in the house is shouting and stomping around. I thought I was okay and safe in my bedroom but apparently they can just barge in here uninvited and start yelling at me too. All the shouting is cos my sister has dented her wheel on her car and shouldn't be driving it. She was meant to get a replacement tyre today but they guy at the shop said that he couldn't do that until she got a new wheel and that could take a few days. So she's had to ask for lifts everywhere and I gotta give her and her boyf a lift to the train station at 10.30pm tonight.

Ah. I'm done ranting. I'm just really annoyed.

Okay, so I had this idea last night that I would try surfing the stairs on my laundry basket just to see whether it could be done. I couldn't do it last night cos the parents were in and they're strict and would tell me off for ruining their carpet. Knowing full well that I could potentially break my neck or something stupid like that just for a few seconds of fun I gave it a go. Bad idea..

I got halfway down and the laundry basket slid out from under me and I hit my arm on the banister. Yeah I know it's only a small injury but it hurts! Must have bruised the bone or something.. I have now realised that I am 19 and should grow up and act my age. No more stair surfing for me..

I haven't updated in a while but really can't be bothered today but here's a quick one of the last couple of days.

I got rung by the recruitment agency yesterday evening offering me a one day job for today, which I took cos the lady made it sound really interesting. She said that I would be doing packaging stuff up for a large print company. When I got there this morning I couldn't find the damn reception cos it was in one of these huge business parks where all the buildings look the same. Finally I found the entrance and a hot guy pulled up in his car and pressed the button to be let in which I'd already done but they didn't answer me. He had a really nice name (which I can't remember) and he was there just to drop some stuff off. OMG he was hot (like the ideal man)!

That's about as fun and exciting my day got. The rest of it was pants! I stood in a hot basement folding envelopes, labelling up envelopes and putting the folded up envelopes and a leaflet into another envelope and sealing it. Thank god for self-sealing envelopes! I think the woman said that there were 2,500 envelopes to do which didn't seem that much when she said it but there were about 5 boxes of the things. It didn't take us that long cos there were 6 of us and we all worked as a team and got it done by 4.15pm which was over an hour before we were meant to finish so they let us off early. I hope they pay us for that hour cos my back hurts and I think I have a repetitive strain injury. I want a bath!

On the drive home I got stuck behind all the slow drivers (what I call the Sunday drivers) and that really pissed me off. Every oppotunity I got I overtook them.. LOL!

The other day my sister bought me 2 Corydoras fish and 2 Danios from work to add to my tank. The Corys are sooo cute, they're like little hoovers and are doing a good job of keeping the sand in my tank relatively clean. The Danios are amazingly pretty - kind of orange and pink and sometimes they flash green on their fins. They're flitting around with my minnows. Actually I don't know whether they're flitting or fighting but they look pretty anyway..

And that is it for now. My shoulders are killing me. All I want to do is have a lovely hot bath but mum's painting the walls in there and I don't want to get a paint-induced headache.

Just a picture post of my haircut. I got it cut last week and it turned out quite dodgy but I still like it..

Anyway, my dad and I went on a bike ride yesterday for about 45 mins. Then my sister came home and saw the bikes out and then she wanted to go on one so I tagged along. I didn't realise we would be doing about a 4 mile round trip that lasted like an hour. I'm extremely saddle sore cos I hadn't ridden my bike in about 2 years when I used it to cycle to the stables. Climbing the stairs last night and this morning was agony. The top of my thighs hurt, but it's a good thing right. I might do it more often. It was fun cos we went to this park that has a really cool bike track that twists and turns and goes up and down hills. Good for the old legs!

Really pissed off!

Hullo you people of my extremely undercrowded LJ! I got a new haircut and I'm hopefully onto a new confidence level. But I'm also pretty pissed off (see under cut)..

Not having a great time of it at the moment. Wanted to go down the river with my friend and her rather cool lil' brother today. Got to her house and parked in her drive and unfortunately broke down! It was the starter motor again but dad came and started Bob up and we drove home again to get my mum's car.

Had a great time down at the river. Messed about. Laughed at some kid who had a bow and arrow and couldn't get a single one into this huge oak tree trunk that he was aiming for. Had the bright idea that I would go to my friend's hairdressing salon and get my mohecan. Mum said it was okay so I went ahead and did it.Came home after doing so and mum goes 'I don't like it!'. I said tough, it's my hair, I can do what I like with it. She reminded me that I have to get a job and they aren't gunna give me one looking like this. I don't see what's wrong with it really, I think it looks great. Dad also commented and I said that they're just gunna have to accept it cos it's staying like this for a while. Then he tried to argue with me so I slammed the £20 on the table which would have more than covered the hair cut that I had yesterday which mum said was pointless..

God, I hate this family! My mum is being a total mare, she really is! I don't like being at home when my dad is home cos he likes to moan at things and pick arguements, like everything I say he tries to see the other point of view of it. Stupid twat! Sorry, but that's jsut how I feel at the moment. I hate also not having a laptop. I have to sit at the desktop in the family room where everyone sits and small talks cos there's no telly. I can't wait to get my laptop back.

They've gone to my nan's now. They asked if I wanted to go but I declined. I don't wanna get stick from her too, and she's the worst of them. I'm waiting for my sister's verdict now, I'm sure she'll love it.

To top it all I have that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song in my head cos they were playing it on the radio for a laugh.

This may seem stupid/pathetic but I made my first ever icon today!!! I downloaded GIMP after being recommended it by a friend and I got straight into it and made a rather shit icon but it's a start. I did the cropping and resized it.. I need to learn how to alter colours and do backgrounds and stuff..

I found a tutorial at http://awakencordy.livejournal.com/65283.html for making mood themes available to free account users but I don't think it works (so ignore the thing at the end of the update). The person who made the tutorial doesn't seem to want to help anyone or explain it in more detail so I'll just have to keep my annoyingly crap kitten mood theme.

My bedroom carpet is (finally) coming on tuesday so I have to move everything from my bedroom this weekend. Luckily my mum has finished teaching at her school for the summer holidays so I have an extra pair of hands. After the carpet gets laid I can then build my wardrobe and buy my fish tank and set that up. Speaking of fish, I bought a new one yesterday. It's so cute cos he's only a baby. He's a little black moor called Desmond (all my fish are sadly named after Lost characters).

Well, I'm gunna go now and annoy my parents. Hee hee!

I think it's time for a quick update. I'm not sure whether anyone actually reads them anymore, but I'll do it anyway.

I have now actually finished my first college year. I had 2 exams last week, one went really well (cos it's was open-book) and another which went not so well (cos it was 3 essay questions). I have to wait 2 months at least for my results, but all I need to do is pass, next year is when you get graded for the degree.

I can't believe it's nearly 4pm already. I haven't even done anything today apart from go to my nan's to fix her pond filter and ice my friend's birthday cake. I'm going out to dinner with her family tonight at 8pm. She has a huge family and apparently there's 19 of us going to a restaurant. Whoa..

Went to see the Omen last night and it was alright. Not as good as I expected but I'm not saying it was poor. David Thewlis was genius in it, I really liked him until *ahem* the incident, then he wasn't so likeable! I loved his whole hoody and denim jacket look, very sexy! But overall the storyline didn't really go anywhere and it wasn't that scary. The girl next to me nearly shat her pants at a jumpy bit! She screamed and nearly jumped into her friend's lap! Stupid girl!

Yesterday I sat out in the sun reading ym book for a couple of hours then the evening came and I was red! My shoulders and legs are red and sore! My arms are nice and tanned though.. Mum and dad scoulded me for spending too much time in the sun but it's not like I sat out there all day! Dad's not having a very fun time at the moment. He's just found out that my sister's car heater is leaking into the footwell. He's trying to fix it but he's not happy cos it's really hot outside. I've had my car for over 2 years now and not much has gone wrong with it, but my sister has had 2 cars in 3 years and she drives them so hard considering they only have small engines that things break on them. Like in the winter she drove it up the curb and bent the chassis.. She's now thinking of getting a newer car but I don't think it's a good idea, but she'll never listen to me.

I've applied to a local job agency to try and get some well-paid temp work instead of going back into retail which is the last thing I wanna do. By the end of the summer I should have over £1000 and perhaps if I work during the holidays next year I can save up for my new car - a Seat Leon. They're gorgeous! Can't wait!

Anyway, I'm gunna wrap up here, don't want to bore you too much with my ramblings. I have a cake to finish. Bye!

Hey people of my friends list. I guess it's time for an update considering I haven't done it in...let's see...quite a long time. I will try and keep it short and sweet but who knows...so it's under the cut:

Where shall I start? Hmm.. oh yeah. I have officially finished my 1st year at college. I have two more weeks left, one for revision and one for exams. No more lectures for a whole 4 months! Wooo! I'm still living in halls though, but am starting to clear it out like take all my CDs and DVDs home that I won't have time to watch and all the clothes that I might not need for the next 2 weeks. Next weekend it'll probably be all the magazines and folders and pieces of paper that I've collected in my drawers. But even after all that I will still have a car full on the last weekend!

I can't wait til college is actually over, I can get a job and then it'll be time for my holiday to Spain. We're driving down there which will take a day and a half, so we're stopping at a posh French chateau thing near my uncles and meeting up with him that evening. I haven't seen him since I was about 15 so it'll be such a surprise for him to see how much I have grown up and changed. I kind of remember what he looks like but only vaguely. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

My parents put together my sister’s wardrobe today. It's one of those corner ones and it comes out like 2 and a half foot with a diagonal door. I stood in it in the shop and I fitted and I’m 6 foot tall! You could have a party in there! My parents ordered my wardrobe and carpet for my room which will come on Friday. Who knows, next weekend my bedroom might nearly be finished! I can't afford the fish tank I want yet so I'll have to wait until about August/September time to move them upstairs to a bigger tank. I have a really cool idea for the decoration in my tank. I’m gunna make it all dark, with black gravel and bogwood and stuff. The only light things in there will be the fish!

Speaking of fish, (I don't know whether I've told you but) Hurley died about 2 weeks ago! He was my first and favourite one and he just died one night. I don't want to replace him just now cos adding a new fish might disturb the water quality and at the moment it's alright.

My gerbils had a fight last weekend and the one that I thought was the nice one took a huge chunk out of the other one’s ear. He had blood all down the side of him and there were a couple of splatters up the side of the tank so it must have hit an artery or something. He’s okay now, I’ve separated them, but the cage I put one in is too small for him to live permanently in cos it’s only a hamster cage and gerbils are really active. So when I have a bit of money, I’m gunna buy a new cage for him and keep him upstairs. They both look really sad cos they’re not meant to be alone but I’m not putting them back together so they can tear each other apart again.

It was so nice outside today! I think the average temp. Was 24 degrees C. I decided to organize a BBQ tonight and I invited one of my friends around. My parents went out tonight so we took over the lounge and watched Walk the Line. OMG I didn’t realize how much I love this film! I kind of have my obsession back but not majorly like last time. We watched all the deleted scenes. There was one in it with Jerry Lee in the background and we didn’t realize til it was halfway through that he was there and we totally freaked out. And we watched the extended Lewis Boogie scene as well. I still need to buy WTL but I can’t really afford it at the moment, like a lot of things. I also have a stubble addiction…it’s just one of those many things that I like on men!

Anyway, it’s 10:51pm and I have revision to do tomorrow so I guess I will go to bed now. I love you all.
